ZernFlow ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of our users and their social media contacts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and process information when you use our platform, including our integration with Meta (Instagram & Facebook) APIs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide automated social media communication services:

  • Account & Authentication Data: When you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, we receive authorization tokens, your account ID, username, display name, and profile picture.
  • Messaging & Interaction Data: To execute user-defined automation flows, we process incoming Direct Messages (DMs), post comments, sender/commenter IDs (IGSIDs), and message text sent to your connected accounts.
  • Platform Account Information: Email address, workspace settings, and user credentials created during registration.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed by ZernFlow is strictly used for:

  • Executing automated conversation flows, comment-to-DM triggers, and broadcasts configured by you.
  • Displaying chat histories and contact management in your ZernFlow dashboard inbox.
  • Maintaining and refreshing access tokens required for API connectivity.
  • Ensuring platform security, preventing abuse, and complying with social media platform policies.

4. Security & Token Encryption

We prioritize data security. All access tokens and sensitive platform credentials stored by ZernFlow are encrypted at rest using high-entropy AES-256 encryption. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your contacts' information to third parties.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We integrate directly with official platform APIs, including Meta Graph API (Instagram & Facebook). Data transmitted to these services is governed by Meta's Data Policy. We do not share your messaging data with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. User Control & Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your connected accounts and data:

  • Disconnecting Accounts: You can disconnect any Instagram or Facebook channel at any time from your Channels settings, which immediately revokes our access to that account.
  • Data Deletion Requests: You can request complete deletion of your account and associated workspace data by contacting us or removing your workspace in Settings.
